The butter chicken loaded fries and mushroom chicken platter were so yummy! And the fresh ginger ale was so good! Definitely recommend trying it if you can! Our waitress Cory was also super nice and helpful 💖

This was my first time trying Ginger cafe and it blew all of my expectations away! It was amazing!! All of the flavors are super authentic. I got a to go plate of the chicken shawarma bowl and it was delicious. They also packed so much food in the bowl. It was 100% worth my money. I will definitely be back!

Ginger Cafe is a conveniently located, high-quality restaurant with a variety of Mediterranean options. We ordered the butter chicken loaded fries and the gyro plate and were not disappointed. Both meals were fresh and tasted delicious. The service was one portion of the dining experience that could be improved. We were seated immediately at a booth and provided a fresh pita. We ordered a side salad with one of the dishes that was never brought out, but we were not charged for it and the portions are generous, so the salad would not have been eaten anyway. The restaurant atmosphere is fantastic but the music overpowered our conversation often, so turning that down would significantly improve the dining experience. Finally, the finishes in the restaurant including the bench seating at booths and the restrooms were in poor condition. Repairing or replacing these items would convert this review to 5/5. Overall, I would recommend Ginger Cafe.

My friend Matt brought me to Ginger Café because he said it was one of his favorite spots in Corpus Christi. I completely understand why. We started with the hummus and tabouli appetizer along with a hot tea pot while we waited for our meal. Our waitress, Karla, was wonderful and suggested the Mediterranean Mushroom Chicken dish for me while my friend ordered the Gyro Plate. Eric, one of the leaders at the restaurant, came over to chat with us while we waited, and when I mentioned I ordered the Mushroom Chicken, I could tell by his reaction that I made the right choice. He was absolutely right. The chicken was so tender, the sauce was delicious, and the feta cheese paired perfectly with the dish. The sautéed vegetables were cooked beautifully as well. The atmosphere and quality of the food made this such a great experience. I now understand why this is one of my friend’s favorite restaurants — and honestly, it may be mine now too. I can’t wait to come back!

Family of 6 went on mother's day. Place was semi packed at the time we went and they took us in without a reservation no problem. Visit was from 3:12 - 4:52 pm I will say the food was very delicious. I ordered the shawarma combo and added a side greek salad. My husband ordered the same minus the side salad. We both loved everything. For the kids we ordered 1 chicken shawarna wrap, and 3 build your own bowls. 2 build your own bowls were rice and beef shawarna and the remaining was a rice and chicken shawarna. Kids loved it. The fresh baked bread is delicious, soft and fluffy. We also ordered an extra order of hummus about 20 minutes before we left the establishment. Initially service was very good, towards the end it was a bit lacking since we waited and waited for our waiter, so we could order a hummus but since he wasn't around we had to flag down someone else for help. Had to ask 2 separate times, 2 separate people about that hummus. The server ended up coming back an apologized for not being there to take the order for the hummus. At that same time we were getting started to leave and asked for 2 to go boxes. We were pretty satisfied up until that point. Our stomach was full
